Confused about sharara & garara or lehnga & ghagra? Know the difference
We are introduced to new styles everyday which makes it very difficult to get familiar with the style terminology.Some of the garments that look alike but are named differently are as follows. 1. Garara and Sharara Sharara is a fully flared pant. Garara is also a variation of sharara but it is fitted till the knees after which the flare starts.The flared and fitted part of the pants is divided by a band. 2. Lehnga and Lancha Both Lehnga and lancha comprise of flared skirts. The difference lies in the upper wear. Flared skirt with a short blouse that reveals the waist and back is called a lehnga Flared skirt with a blouse long enough to cover the waist is called a Lancha. The length of the upperwear may vary from a short kurti to a long ankle length kurti. 3. Kurta and Kurti The only difference in these two are their lengths. If the length is short it is called a Kurti. B
